Food Pantry Clients
For Current and Prospective Clients

Welcome to the OREMC Food Pantry!  We are glad that we can serve you, and we welcome you into our community. To ensure the smoothness of our operations and the quality of our service to you, we require all clients to comply with the following guidelines:

Hours of Operation:  The OREMC Food pantry is open to distribute food to registered clients the third Saturday of each month barring bad weather or other unforeseen issues.  The food pantry is hosted by 6 - 8 church volunteers who have chosen to serve their community as a ministy.
Generally, the pantry is open from 9:00am to 11:00am. The hours may be shortened or lengthened as decided by the Pantry Coordinator(s) working that day.  Clients are eligible to  receive food from our pantry once each calendar month.

To Register as a New Client:  Prospective new clients are asked to complete an OREMC Pantry Registration form upon their first visit.  If their address changes, telephone numbers changes or the number of reisdential occupants change, we ask that their registration infromation be updated.

Please Note That:

  •  No appointments are necessary during the hours posted above – we serve on a “first come first served basis” – if someone is a new client, we ask that they identify themselves so we can start them on brief paperwork shortly after they arrive.  If they want to call to see how busy we are that is fine.
  • Clients must arrange their own transportation to and from our pantry.  Because generous amounts of food are provided to each family, it is suggested that clients use a car rather than public transportation to pick up their food.
  • When picking up food at OREMC, park in the front lot of the church and enter through the double doors under the covered church entrance.
