About the Pastor

Pastor Bryant Madren was born and raised in Graham, N.C. where he graduated from Southern Alamance High School. He is currently working to complete his undergraduate degree at Vintage Bible College in Winston Salem, N.C. . Pastor Bryant currently holds a local preacher's license through the Atlantic District Conference of the Evangelical Methodist Church. Bryant's wife, Leslie, was born and raised in Asheboro, N.C. where she graduated from Fayetteville Street Christian School. Leslie was also an attendee of Liberty University.

Pastor Bryant was called into the ministry in September of 1998, and he yielded to the call that following December. He preached his first sermon at a community sunrise service in April 1999 for three churches. ( How fitting for a first sermon to be on Easter and to have a sunrise setting!) Pastor Bryant and Leslie served as youth leaders at Saxapahaw Evangelical Friends, and White Hall Evangelical Methodist Church before accepting the Pastorate here at Old Richmond.

God has truly blessed Pastor Bryant with a wonderful helpmate!! Leslie and Bryant were married in January of 1998. They have two beautiful children, Caroline and Isaac. They have dedicated their family to serving God wherever he calls and leads them. God is using this family to win souls for Jesus Christ, to nurture the hurting and to restore the wounded.
