Who we are?
We are a vibrant and on fire youth
ministry, that is designed to get today’s youth
excited about God. We accomplish this through
the power of prayer, praise, fellowship, team
ministry, and God’s Word. These are the
key factors that we have found in building a strong
youth ministry.
The Power of Prayer : Prayer
is always the key ingredient to receiving anything
from God. Prayer is powerful and is our direct
life-line to our relationship with God. Prayer
changes things!
The Power of
Praise : Praise is of the utmost importance to
the vitality and spirituality of God’s
people. When we surrender our praise to God,
then He will begin to pour out His Spirit and many
blessings upon us like never before.
The Power of
Fellowship : Fellowship is very important to
any ministry. Through fellowship we build
Christian relationships with others, as we encourage
and build each other up for ministry.
The Power of
Team Ministry : Team Ministry is an important
asset to our youth ministry. Currently over 90
% of our youth are now involved in team ministry.
Team ministry has helped in getting our youth more
involved. If there is not a team ministry that
meets the gifting of a particular youth, then they
are encouraged to create one. Getting youth
involved in team ministry creates ownership and
unity.
The Power of
God’s Word : The Word of God is truth and
life to those who believe and live by it. The
name FIRE POWER YOUTH is based on Jeremiah 23:29
which says, “Is not My Word like a
fire?…. And like a hammer that breaks the
rock in pieces?” There is an
excitement and a expectancy to receive from
God’s living Word, when our youth experience
biblical truths in their everyday lives.
We also believe in networking with
other youth ministries. God does not want us to
have denominational walls, so that we don’t
fellowship with other believers in Christ. We
have seen much fruit as well as collected many ideas
for our youth as we began to worship and participate
with other great youth ministries.
